Status Report #26: 22nd of March, 2026
Hello hello, good people, and welcome to our latest Status Report!
Michael here today, and let's hop right in, starting with our...
Active projects!
Well, if you're a regular reader, you probably already know what we've been up to, this week! The final chapter of Casualia Parks came out just yesterday, along with a flythrough video, some workshop items and a cut-down version of the fly through coming out this evening, for the more shorts-oriented crowd.
That being said, finishing that project took a pretty chunky final push, and pretty much all the time we could spare for our projects after work has gone into that.
So there's not much else to report on other projects. Some minor work went into our next musical number, but yeah, finishing Casualia Park was a solid priority.
So, moving on to...
Non-project stuff!
Well, we've been fairly busy and generally haven't done all that much of interest. Though we -did- revisit a DCS aircraft we'd kinda put on ice for a bit, the MiG-29.
[There'd be a screenshot here, but we haven't actually taken any, yet! >_>]
But yeah, we recently found ourselves in the right mood to look at a redfor plane. Very different to the western machines we're familiar with. But more on that when we get a little deeper into it.
One thing that needs mentioning is..... well, stress.
Don't wanna be all complain-y, but regular readers might recall us mentioning that my father died, last year. Well, we're now in the middle of the inheritance process, and along with tax stuff and a couple of other things, we're currently being swamped with bureaucratic nonsense and all kinds of bills and fees.
Frankly, specifically this weekend, we got to a point where we pretty much just want to shut it all out and be left alone to ourselves. But of course, we've got a job like everyone else, and all this stuff isn't gonna take care of itself, either.
So, what we're going to do is for the next week (and possibly the week after, depending on how things go), we'll reduce our work on musical, blog and other such projects.
A sort of holiday, if you will. We need some breathing room until we manage to get clear of this bureaucratic swamp bogging us down.
We're not disappearing or anything, and you might well still see some signs of life from us here and there, but yeah, just letting you know, for the next week or two, we'll lay low, take care of some other stuff and indeed, use our downtime to just relax and play some video games or something, before we get a stress ulcer.
And that'll be that from us, this week.
Sorry it's a bit of a short report this time, but yeah, i think it's clear we need a bit of a break.
So until next time, dear readers, take care of yourself, try not to drown in paperwork and have a good one!
